About Lilium Rose Wellness and Dr. Jess

I started Lilium Rose Wellness in July of 2025 after graduating with my Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN.

I spent my clinical rotations focusing on conditions of mental health, addiction, digestive issues, post operative, ante and post partum care at Riverside Fairview M HEALTH.

I was fortunate enough to participate in an internship at The Neuroscience Center in St. Paul, MN and was able to treat patients managing conditions of neuropathy, vertigo, sensory impairments, PTSD and post stroke sequelae.

Some of my favorite rotations were providing free community style acupuncture at Blaisdell YMCA and ZaRah Integrative Root Center where I focused mainly on mental health matters and general wellness.

I approach every patient as an individual and custom their treatment based on their needs. Helping others manage conditions and seeing how this practice affects their lives is something I strive for.

I was referred to Acupuncture for post concussion syndrome and still remember my 1st treatment, it felt like a weight had been taken off my shoulders and the stress in my face was gone. I fell in love with this practice immediately and finally took a leap of faith in January of 2021 to begin my Doctorate at Northwestern.

Before my life began as an Acupuncturist, I worked with my background in Horticulture and started my plant nursery in 2019 from my home. Something I love about this practice is it’s use of herbs and food as medicine. Lily and Rose in Chinese medicine are herbs used for their abilities to gently clear heat, calm the spirit and move Qi.

I had sustained a debilitating work related injury in 2020 and felt as though my spirit was broken. This was the push I needed to make a change in life.

Acupuncture is more than putting needles into points, it is addressing your body and mind, and offers other practices besides Acupuncture like Qi Gong, Breathwork, Cupping, Gua Sha, Herbal and Food Therapies.

Because of this I wholeheartedly believe that Wellness is a state of mind, beyond chronic pain and the daily stressors we encounter.
